Review on 🔧 HANMATEK Adjustable Regulated Interface with Programming Capability by James Vilchez

Bought two 30V-10A power supplies very good replacement for my old desktop power supply, good value and packed functionality, most importantly I can control it via USB with MODBus! Despite being a switching power supply it's pretty quiet unless you care about RF stuff, otherwise it's a great smart power supply. This power supply can limit voltage/current, I was able to test a low current LED that is only 15mA/3V and it limited the current well. The PSU software isn't very friendly, lacks documentation and doesn't do what I wanted it to do. I'm looking for voltage/current presets, monitors V/A. The ability to control and manage more than one device (you can open two applications for this). FYI, you can access more features by right-clicking the system tray icon. It took me a while to find it. It uses the MODBUS serial protocol and comes with a simple document. But you can find more of this application DeviceClassInfo.XML and ShortCutKeys.XML for their location in the tax registry (some I don't know what they do). Actually I can write my own application to control my two power supplies so I can run the program before I start my hobby project e.g. B. installing V/C or controlling V/C/P over time. Advantages: - Actually 32 V. 10.5 A - Large 4-digit display! - Light weight, now I can take it with me. - 6 memory calls for setting voltage and current - good for setting values for specific projects and tests - ability to do memory cycles for testing! - Ability to lock the keyboard to avoid accidents where needed - USB/Serial MODBUS can control almost all functions (set/read/enable/disable functions - including beep) - Quiet - Fan is pretty quiet Cons: - Rate of change of voltage can take up to 4s - PSU software not very user friendly and undocumented - Windows only - There could be better device management software - Disk management isn't very smart but it gets the job done. above - easy removal
