Your best bet is to buy StarTech KVM
This cable set is the easiest way to install StarTech KVM. I bought a 4 in 1 KVM and four sets of these cables. The KVM VGA connectors are male and require a female VGA cable. This is not a regular VGA cable. You could buy an adapter but I found it simpler and cleaner - and the price is really good. Either way, the combination of StarTech KVM and StarTech Cable Kit is a winner!
