I tried it. it gets too hot even after use. I found it became unreliable as the contacts got pointy and didn't make a good connection. I only had 40 amps of current, which is much lower than the calculated one. I've replaced it with a self-holding solenoid that doesn't draw current to maintain power. If you intend to use this device, please redesign your application to use a latching solenoid. it's much better and not difficult to do!
