Although the front of the charger states that it is suitable for use on farms and ranches, I have had no problem using it with regular car batteries. Yes, it also works with a lawn mower battery, fully charges it and then transfers it to trickle charge, just like car batteries. Maybe you just want more than one of these so you can charge each of your batteries. If I were being picky at all, I would suggest that it would be nice to get more feedback on the state of charge - is charging almost complete or do we still have a long way to go? Either way, you'll know when the device switched to charge assist, but until then you'll get little information on how much progress has been made.
