Excellent cable, solid construction. The core is hard but has a good amount of flexibility. I bought this because I upgraded my internet speed to gigabit and the ISP rep said the cables in the house are old and need replacing. You were right. However, my ISP charged $54.95 to send a technician to replace the cables. Yes, that doesn't happen. I spent less than $20 on new cables from the wall to my modem and some fancy right angle adapters to keep the coax from bending too much. The speed increased from 250 Mbit/s to 950 Mbit/s. I am very, very happy. I noticed that several reviews said they had trouble removing the small plastic cover protecting the copper core. The easiest way to get it is to just pull the black RevainBasics handle. These handles are removable and the plastic lid sits on top of the handle so when you pull the handle out the lid pops out as well.
