I know there are people out there who claim to be good at art supplies, that they aren't of the highest quality, or that there isn't enough choice. I assume these are the same people who walk into a fast food restaurant and complain that they don't serve a good chateaubriand. This is clearly a student and beginner set and I don't think the creators intended it to be all inclusive. Furnished. It is offered at a very attractive price and is a good start to using quality art supplies. You will receive a set of pencils and charcoal as well as special erasers and sharpeners. You get multiple options for each medium, ostensibly to offer an affordable way to find one, or at least something closer to what you prefer. This set is dedicated to exploring your possibilities. You'll immediately realize that this is a lot better than using drawing paper. They also help you find a style. I'm currently exploring my artistic tastes and talents and this set is part of the gear I bought for it. So, from a beginner's perspective, this set is great.
