A great starter kit for those looking to get into painting. This kit provides anyone who wants to start painting with everything they need to get started. I'm sure if they keep drawing, they'll keep making their own pens. This is a good way to start drawing. The set is very cheap and the pens are of good quality. The set even includes two sharpeners and two erasers. You should buy a carrying case for your pencils, sharpeners and erasers. Highly recommended.

Love this set! My only complaint is that some pencils have had their leads broken several times during sharpening before finally being properly sharpened (even when I was careful). I learned a lot about shading techniques with this! Try it! Update: I've been using these pens for over a year now and absolutely love them. I know there are people out there who claim to be good at art supplies, that they aren't of the highest quality, or that there isn't enough choice.
