Excellent set at a very good price. I had been away from the art scene for almost a decade and after crying over the complete decline in my skills I decided I needed a new facility to get my momentum back on track. Not diving into full size parts or anything just yet, I didn't need a serious set with enough stuff to last me 5 years or so much that it would be overwhelming while I brush up on my knowledge. the basics new. The different styles of pencils, eraser, and charcoal are perfect, just enough variety to achieve different tones and finishes, but not so much that I can't decide what to pick up when, or that my stuff is on my small workspace are scattered. The kneaded eraser is an A+++ and an absolute must have for everyone, I've always been a bit heavy with pencils and the white eraser can't always get rid of my hard lines but the kneaded erasers erase everything (and I always thought they were just awesome nice to crush, it's reassuring!), the charcoal is greasy and the pins are very strong. Again, I'm despotic and these guys don't break me at all. This is truly a professional set! That also makes this set great for any aspiring artist! Not only is it very affordable, but it is also of excellent quality and that is what someone who is just beginning their journey should aim for. Enough to diversify and get a foothold, but nothing special. Nothing upsets me more than seeing new artists being forced to buy massive amounts when they probably won't know what to do with half of it for a while. This can be overwhelming for a newbie, confusing and quite frankly a waste of money. Just be; A handful of pencils, some charcoal (if you like them, some don't, and that's fine!), some paper, and an eraser is all you really need, and this set takes care of everything but the paper. I strongly recommend installing it to anyone thinking about it. You will not regret it.
