Review on 🚿 Bosch Tronic 3000 T 7-Gallon Electric Mini-Tank Water Heater (ES8) - Instant Hot Water - Mountable on Shelf, Wall, or Floor by Marlin Atonyo

Overall this is a good compact unit which works well as a buffer/mixing tank in combination with a water heater. Two very important installation details are not mentioned in the installation instructions: 1) Use a 'water heater connection hose' on both water connections - it is imperative that the connection fitting has a flat rubber gasket to seal the heater inlet/outlet; If you're using standard NPT fittings they most likely aren't airtight and you'll end up with rusty water from iron threads you don't want to get wet. Pulleys are leaking. 2) Check pressure connections before switching on! Any leakage from the inlet side is routed directly to the electrical connection box (if installed with a vertical water connection) and this box is not drained; this is a design flaw. The bypass valve must also be safely drained (not shown) and not left upstairs.
