Quickly removes joints!

These diamond discs did an excellent job in honed cement grout on the back of a kitchen tile. I got them because I blew through 4-5 Dremel multipurpose tiles while trying to remove the grout from the shower tile! Dremel slabs are 1/16 inch thick as well, but I think the problem was that my shower tiles were even closer together. So most of the time I don't just cut the grout, I cut the tile as well. What a pita! It took so long I nearly broke a golfer's elbow from the tool :( My kitchen tiles looked the same width but it's hard to tell when they were grouted. Still, I only had to use one of those diamond blades to cut them all the grouts in my kitchen! It was a lot easier than my shower. I don't know if it was really a diamond wheel or the gap between the tiles so I can't say for sure they're better than the dremel but for that Price they are worth it.I would say there are not as many diamond particles on these blades as on a dremel. But the dremel is not diamond it's carbide so not as strong as the cutting material on these blades..FYI, on a linear scale diamond is 100 times harder than tungsten carbide Mohs translated diamond is 10 hardest of all tungsten carbide is 8-9 one downside is they don't have a straight part l like a dremel. I use the straight part of the Dremel blades to hit the corners for horizontal grout lines.
