Prints Can't Stick

I can't stick prints to this new build plate without glue or hairspray. I've cleaned the IPA platform, leveled about a dozen times, tried different temperatures (60-80 degrees) and nothing helps. It seems they've started using a new coating (or I have a lemon) that does the exact opposite. I compared mine to a friend's build plate and they definitely have a different texture despite being the same plate (he was 2 years old). It feels more structured and holds up better. Mine is very smooth and practically non-sticky. I will now look for another brand that has better grip.
