Difficult-to-read mobile phone displays
We liked the price and appearance of these devices. We first ordered one to test with our POS system and the device seemed to scan quickly and accurately. After initial testing, we bought ten more for our counters. It was bad here. I'm not sure if it was due to ambient lighting or just different screen brightness levels on customers' phones, but the devices were struggling to read the QR code. We tried different angles, turned the devices away from the light, asked customers to increase the screen brightness, but nothing helped. We then sent the devices back. If you have a dark room and use codes printed on paper this device works great, otherwise not so well.
