Undersummers shortlettes are the most comfortable piece of clothing I own. They are NOT compression. The fabric is soft and smooth and breathable. The lace at the bottom of hem keeps them from riding up. The lace at the waist is smooth, soft, and not at all binding on creases. They do the job of preventing the thigh chaffing and they are so very comfortable. I've purchased five pairs so I can wear dresses with cute sandals all summer! I highly recommend this garment!
