Review on 🍨 Lello Musso Pola 5030 Silver Dessert Maker - 2 Quart Capacity by Greg Princeking

I like this machine and even as a beginner I can try some professional stuff here. The downside is that the blade on this machine is very tight, making it difficult to remove for cleaning. It has to be removed for a thorough cleaning. I have to use pliers and a tissue to loosen the nut and even then it is very tight and I have to ask my husband. I suspect the gasket is missing. However, there doesn't seem to be a number to contact this company to have this part replaced. Edit after years of use: I had to shave the metal on the blade a bit to get it to fit properly, so it tightened when I started the car. I've been using it for a year. He made the smoothest ice cream for about 8 months. Then the crystals got bigger and the ice wasn't so smooth anymore. I suspect it's not cooling down fast enough like it did when the car was new. There is no online information or support on Lello. The support number listed here and in the included book is incorrect.
