Needs a way to mount some Google Pixel Slate and it's pretty close: Pixel Slate: 7.95in (202mm) x 11.45in (290 .9mm) - 7mm thick Surface Pro: 7.9" (201mm) x 11.5" (292mm) - 8.5mm thick. So as you can see you are off by about 1mm which seems to work but isn't perfect. It bends the tablet slightly, and with a little elbow grease you can put the top on. In my haste I was only able to attach two screws (corners) and attach a few other screws with glue just for beauty's sake.
