Time Machine didn't accept this for backup so I manually started moving files from my imac to the Novus device and the device accepted them. However, when I accepted Time Machine's request to clean the drive so it could be used for backups, the Novus engine immediately crashed. Despite repeated attempts, it won't "mount" on my imac. I will have to take it to a specialist and it will cost me money. I have since ordered a WD14TB unit which works perfectly. Unfortunately, time has passed on me and now I cannot return the Novus Module. Aggravating!
