We have 2 heavy shedding dogs, one with black hair and one with copper hair (I know, not smart to get opposite colored dogs if you're a neat freak). We also have 2 year old twins, AND we got a pale yellow hand-me-down couch after one of the said dogs exploded our last one. The pale yellow soon turned to a dingy gray and brown between all the cleanings and hand prints and whatever else you can think of. And the dog hair was impossible to keep off or ignore. We tried 3 other couch covers but they either immediately got holes, attracted more dog hair than before, or only hid one color of dog hair while the other was blatantly obvious. I decided to give this cover a try as the final effort before we finally get a new couch- HOLY. CRAP. This thing is amazing. It doesn't attract dog hair nearly as bad as the rest of the furniture in the house, and I can't see it when it does. I have to consciously remind myself to roll the hair off because it hides it so well. The fabric is thick enough that they've yet to put a hole in it, and stretches enough to easily cover the whole thing without looking loose. My toddlers are also obsessed with how soft it is. The best part is my mom got a new couch the same week I got this cover and my sister in law thought I bought a new one from the same place because of the huge upgrade this cover was to our crappy old couch!
