Nicely packaged / Had a distinct new smell / Rolled up nice and tight Laid out on the rug - with something heavy to press the end that was wedged tightest in the roll. (06/25/20). After 24 hours I put it in front of the door. It still has a slight kink at one end, but it won't trip anyone. Now I felt good under my feet - let's see how it will be in a few months, but it's not designed for my bare feet. Planning for indoor use on a less frequently used door but where the current mat will not stay in place. I hope this one stays and does the job. So far so good, but I'd like it to be a little bigger and more proportional to my door.
