I bought this camera looking for USB 3.0 webcams. I was surprised by the very low price and decided to give it a try. I was ready to be disappointed but was pleasantly surprised! I plugged it into a powered USB 3.0 port connected to a Surface Pro 3. It was a little buggy at first, so I restarted Windows 10, started Skype and called my mom. Twice during the call my picture froze and I cycled the port to resolve the issue. The call went well afterwards and my mother said the picture looked much better than the other camera (Logitech USB 2.0). The pickup was fine.
