I bought this to replace another one I bought years ago. I like to have one for home and one for the office. It replaced the one in the office so it was used 5 days a week, 10 hours a day. It worked great right out of the box, didn't overheat, and provided enough power to simultaneously power another monitor, card reader, phone charger, and headphones. It was a good buy.
