We live in Las Vegas, so a fridge is a must when camping. This summer we used it to go to Sedona, California and Lake Powell. We added an extra battery to the car so the fridge won't kill the car battery. The second battery is charged whenever the first is fully charged. Our fridge worked 3 days when we stayed at the hotel without a fridge. We could bring home produce from the farmer's market without fear of it going bad. Calm. You must leave room to breathe between other items in the trunk and the vent.
