used it on a 10 day summer trip in combination with a solar panel. Most of the time we got fresh milk. I recommend a battery for this.

Fast Cooling Small Appliances

We live in Las Vegas, so a fridge is a must when camping. This summer we used it to go to Sedona, California and Lake Powell. We added an extra battery to the car so the fridge won't kill the car battery. The second battery is charged whenever the first is fully charged. Our fridge worked 3 days when we stayed at the hotel without a fridge. We could bring home produce from the farmer's market without fear of it going bad. Calm. You must leave room to breathe between other items in the trunk and

Fridge freezer works fantastic. We keep it in the back of the truck when we pick up frozen food. We're going on a winter hike and can empty our home freezer into this freezer and keep the temp at 12 degrees Fahrenheit which seems to work well for not freezing the fridge area which is good for travel drinks. When we arrive at the campsite we connect the truck and lock it for the challenge. I would give it five stars for the actual device; However, the pigtail used to connect the DC has problems…

Disappointed: Compact Fridges

Bought because I know a few people with Norcold products that were good units. When he was a few months old, he started to flake off a bit if he kept the temperature. After 12 months it stopped working completely. I've probably used it 6 times in total. "It's good that there's a 24-month guarantee," I thought. no Thetford (the parent company) didn't cover it because the Revain listing and my receipt said it was used. It was actually new in the box when I received it. In the original box…

Contact seller first

We received this product two days ago and it is working perfectly now. It cools down very quickly and seems to hold the set temperature. The device looks well made and runs very quietly. We plan to use it on two trips this summer in our SUV and plug it into the rear 12vdc outlet. Hope everything goes well. The areas that bothered me were in another review I read that said the Norcold was made in Ohio, USA. I even confirmed this with the manufacturer's customer service before I placed my order…

Working conditionally

When I bought the Norcold I couldn't decide between it and the 50 liter ARB fridge. They seem fairly comparable, but the Norcold model is cheaper. As a result, despite some shortcomings, I settled on the Norcold block. Pros: Cools down fairly quickly, nice and quiet (similar to ARB). in the back of my SUV (Toyota Sequoia). The ARB cover opened sideways, meaning it was too high to open in the car. The lid folds down easily so you can reach it from the car during a long drive and then fold the…
