Laundry can be a problem - buy two

Color is as shown - bright cherry red. It's soft and thick. When I tried to wash it in warm water, my washing machine went crazy. It's so thick and absorbent that my washing machine went out of balance. I tried balancing it several times and ended up wringing it out by hand and leaving it outside for a day to try and dry it. If you want this rug, buy two. Being round, it doesn't have a diameter to balance itself.
