Review on Hankook Tire Kinergy Eco K425 195/65 R15 91T summer by Boyan Popov ᠌

Good value for money, I recommend it.

Before buying this model, I looked through all the reviews and some independent tests ( - only the manufacturer made a mistake here - Hungary was written; hankook-kinergy-eco-k425/). Almost all owners and experts note excellent handling (lateral stability, rearrangements, braking on wet and dry pavement, slight aquaplaning and skid resistance on wet and dry pavement). Symmetrically, everyone speaks about high noise. Noise worried me a little, so I bought Hankook Tire Kinergy Eco K425 185/65 R15 for my Logan. In fact (Experience of using 1.5 months). Prior to that, went to Barum pressure 2 atm. also pumped up the gankook - the result is like on a cart. It's not the noise, it's the vibration! NO ONE REPORTED ABOUT THIS! Everything in the car rattled that had not rattled before. Feeling that all the bolts and screws will be unscrewed. VERY HARD tyre. The problem was solved simply - I made a pressure of 1.8 atm. Vibration is much less. The noise also decreased and became at the level of Barum. Although all the same, small bumps in the asphalt are felt and not everyone will like it, But this is a matter of taste and habit. BUT HANDLING is really great, something that was not possible to do on a barum - gankook allows, for example, entering a turn at speed (hard line). Excellent brakes on wet pavement. Rigid and durablecomrd - for our roads is very good. Let's see how the wear goes. Haven't tried it off road yet.

Pros
  • Lateral stability, rigid cord, handling, braking
Cons
  • first of all, vibration transmitted to the body from the smallest irregularities and noise (it's a matter of pressure - the less, the softer and quieter)
