Pros: I have tried multiple brands of home security cameras and this is my favorite so far.-Price. Many other cameras like this are often prohibitively expensive. This is one of the most affordable ones I've found.-Unlike other brands, Geeni does not charge you a mandatory subscription fee just to use their product or to access your own footage. They do offer an optional subscription-based cloud storage service, but even without it, you can still replay and record ALL footage using just a micro SD card and the app on your smart device.-These are fantastic for checking on my dog while I am at work. This is the camera that I recommend to all of my friends with pets that want an affordable camera for this purpose.Cons:-The video quality is good enough to identify faces up close, but not from a distance, and not good enough to read license plates if you intend to use it for something like that.-The camera requires a wireless internet connection, so if you live somewhere without Wi-Fi or with a slow connection, you won't be able to use the camera at all.-Even on the highest sensitivity, the motion detection still sometimes misses movement.
