Installation can be confusing, but the finished product is good

So from the start the setup was ridiculous. Not because parts were missing, but because the wires weren't marked or colored as is common in the US (black on black, white on white, copper on copper). nope! I'm a do-it-yourselfer and have installed other lights before, but this one gave me the advantage of the money. Apparently the manufacturer puts little stickers on each cable to identify them for you, HOWEVER most of the stickers fell off so I didn't know what was wrong! I've searched and searched the internet to figure out what I need to do to make sure I'm connecting the correct cables. The ground wire should have a small badge on a sticker (this one fell off). I've been searching to find out what this symbol means and it means "Earth". Wow! I hope this saves time for some people who didn't know this. The rest are marked with letters. I had to look for her too. The round piece that covers the socket on the ceiling is actually quite small and part of my hole in the ceiling is visible around the edge. Also, there is a green wire running through the wire holding the shade (the wire is clean so the green is visible). Not my preference. I would like a white or black cable. It also took a while for the lampshade to get level/flat because the screw on the part that holds the lampshade (next to the bulb) was difficult to screw straight. Wow. Folks, that was no easy task! Lots of "cheap" and poorly labeled parts. The instructions aren't very good either. I'm glad it's in my dining room, but I wouldn't want to do it again.
