Assembled and charged normally. The app download went well. Internet connection worked fine. But the mapping is a complete mess and there are no instructions. Turn on the robot. Skippity is going through the rooms. Vacuums part of a room. He returns to base and says the cleanup is complete. We restart and return to the same room. Take it and put it in another room. Return to the same room. Block the room and place it in another room. Plays a little and drives around the same area over and over again. Refuses to finish the room. Keep trying to come back. Several rooms he never entered. Can't find any help to solve this problem. The app has very limited functionality or help. The vacuum cleaner collects carpets, for example, in front of a shower, toilet or near the kitchen sink. I had to save the vacuum cleaner from them. Two doors need to be changed as the vacuum cleaner can't go through them. Right now it would be a lot easier to just vacuum yourself. But the main complaint is the lack of instructions from something as simple as showing the area to vacuum. I don't know how to deal with this. UPDATE: How to run this thing to make it work. The GOAL is to get a usable map. You need it for the Deebot to vacuum your whole house. It took me two days and 9 attempts to get a usable card. You will literally spend hours and hours trying to get a usable card. Don't use auto-mapping without the right parameters or you'll waste your time. 1) Enable advanced options in the app. 2) Add multiple floors even if you have a one story house. 3) Do not install the mopping pad. This messes up the display. 4) Activate the option "Continuous cleaning". 5) Keep pets away from all areas on the map. Unfortunately, if the robot stops for any reason, the card will become invalid and you will have to start over. Pull the thread through the carpet. Well it stops and the card is invalid. Stick corner on carpet? The robot stops and the card is invalid. Hit the power cord? The card is invalid. Sometimes everything is perfect and Deebot just goes back to the base and says that the cleaning happened in the middle of cleaning the room. The card is invalid. The problem is that the app and program has very limited features and no instructions on how to use it. Additional options are hidden in one place. Several floors hid another. And those options won't even be available until some magical combination of events occurs. As such, you can't find them all without constantly switching icons when they appear. But if you keep resetting and restarting the mapping, you'll end up with the parameters you need to make it work. But none of this makes any sense and customer service just reads you pointless scripts. Second update: I've finally mapped the bottom stair of my house. As long as the map is full and saved correctly, the robot will not comb the entire area. I run it automatically. Then when everything is ready and back in base I have to choose a custom one and send it back to the rooms it missed. It will come back and sweep those rooms, but this software bug makes setting up a regular cleaning schedule in the app almost useless. I contacted the seller as it has been in use for less than a year. Let's see if the guarantee is worth it. Update 07/09/2021: The suction motor failed under the warranty. The seller does not support and says contact the manufacturer. There is no way to contact the manufacturer on the website. So all questions and you are on your own. You can't even buy most parts. So a complete divorce and a complete loss.
