Let's focus on installing

Yes it is reflective during the day, yes it reduces UV and heat, and yes it is NOT reflective at night so be mindful of your privacy. , let's focus on the installation process. The first. Watch almost every window film installation video. You will get a great idea how to do it and some tips on how to stick the film to the window when removing the protective cover. And understand why the fastest, most professional jobs likely require specialty tools. A NOTICE. This window film does not come with any of these tools. Unlucky without tools? no You can do a pretty good job with just a gift/credit card, a spray can, a razor blade, and paper towels. Will it be as perfect as with tools? probably not quite. but I found it perfectly acceptable. BIG NOTE: Window film is VERY easy to scratch, so don't use any homemade tools (a gift card in this case) on the film itself. you'll make dozens of scratches right at eye level on the first pass and be terribly annoyed with yourself. Only use the tool on a transparent protective film. What do you do? Follow the included instructions to remove the clear protective film (if spraying water), then gently apply the tint to the window (if spraying water), then apply the clear film OVER the tint (if spraying Water). THEN use any tool (professional or improvised) to squeeze the water out of the center to close it, but not all the way to the brim. Then hold the paint, peel off the clear protective layer, then use a soft rag or paper towel (wet if necessary) to squeeze out more water and bubbles, close but not quite to the edge. Finally, press the foil against the edge with your tool and cut it with your razor (slowly move the tool and the cutter at the same time). Finally, use this soft cloth or paper towels to squeeze out the last few bubbles to the brim. Note. It would have been easier with two people, but I made it myself by attaching the film to the window and then removing the protective clear side from the underside (while spraying water). After the tint adhered neatly to the center window, I ripped off the tape at the top and then stuck a clear sheet on the back to get rid of the water/bubbles. And the last remark. The film, being reflective, will highlight any imperfections in your window glass. like a few wet spots between my glasses. I don't care because it's definitely not the window film's fault and I need less warmth in my entryway, but some might not like that kind of accent.

Pros

Cons
