Review on Denso 3143 Spark Plug by Jarrett Francis

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great OEM connector on ignition and electrical

I bought 5 of these to replace the kit in my '92 Acura Vigor. The service manual recommends this (ND K16PR-L11) or NGK equivalent for normal driving and a cooler spark plug for hot climates or continuous high speed driving. I live in Southern California (hot climate) but most of my driving over the past 5 years has been city. The last pair I had were the same forks and held up well. I'm switching mainly because I've changed jobs and expect to get a lot more freeway miles; The manual says to be replaced every 48 months or 30,000 miles, whichever comes first. I don't like throwing anything away unless it's bad, but in this case I do preventive maintenance while I have downtime. I just put a very light dab of silicone grease on the union nut and some anti-seize on the threads. For the best price you should check out Sparkplugauto com.
