The image this thing produces is terrible due to a poor sensor with an extremely low dynamic range. That even compares poorly to other rear cameras in the $20 price range. Everything is blurry and hard to see unless the lighting is perfect, which isn't often the case with this app. IR is worse than useless as the LEDs will fire and then cycle off and on again when there are reflections (e.g. from the exhaust). The camera is also more difficult to align due to its design. But it seems to be built quite well with more metal in the construction than I was expecting.
