Easy to use and doesn't get dirty

I've never used a chalk line. Little did I know it wasn't loaded with chalk. It was very easy to fill and very easy to use. I don't think chalk comes off easily. So if you are worried, be aware. I used it on light blue interior wall paint to make a line for my stucco.
