This bag replaces the Timbuk 2, which is also small, so I'm used to a minimalist saddlebag. While the Timbuk2 bag is small, this one is even smaller. VERY SMALL actually. I don't want clamps, they all fail and wear out over time. The zipper puller hangs just a few inches above the hoop. Two zippers are needed, you can put them on top of the bag OR adjust them so the zipper ball doesn't hang so low. In my opinion, this is a serious deficiency. The inner strap/key hook is missing. The bag is of average build quality compared to other bags I own and have seen. I have no idea about the durability as I just received it but first impressions are that the bag is made quite well. The small size is good for short trips and asphalt, but nothing more.
