Review on 🔥 Smooth Stopping Power: Akebono ACT914 Disc Brake Pad Kit Delivers Superior Performance by Bernard Larjin

I have these ACT914 pads (made in USA under Akebono's strict technical control) along with Centric 120.40036 (made in Taiwan and pretty much anything made in USA, Japan or Korea - way better than that , which comes) installed ) from China) on my 2010 Honda Accord LX. The pads and rotors are a huge improvement over the factory pads and rotors. Honda has traditionally excelled in almost everything, but their braking systems and automatic transmissions are the weakest. Just swapping the pads is fine, but if you get the chance to swap rotors at the same time, you won't regret it! From zero miles on this car the factory brakes started to vibrate which was very annoying, especially when braking at high speed (70 to 60 mph). After 1 month break-in period, this new pad/rotor combination is 100% smooth and stable, especially in wet weather. As a side note, factory pads have a solid surface while Akebono pads have a dust box. When removing the factory pads, 3 out of 4 had cracks in the middle of the friction material. The dust hole reduces the likelihood of this happening with replacement pads. Finally, YES I worked at a Honda plant in Ohio so it pains me to say that someone who is NOT a Honda has better technique!
