The display is large and easy to see even without glasses. The night light changes color slightly and this is a fun feature of the night clock. The two USB ports are USB-A style, so don't expect USB-C power delivery or other fast charging options, but slow charging is usually fine for an overnight stay. If you use cables to charge your phones/tablets overnight, choose long cables so you don't have to drag them off your desk when you need to pick up your watch. My two issues with this unit are that despite its size, the hour and minute buttons on the top are difficult to identify. Since there is no color difference, just a recess, the buttons are really hard to see. My second and biggest gripe is that setting up the device is unnecessarily cumbersome. If you're the slave of an alarm clock that doesn't change from day to day, the 24-hour reset button on the back is probably handy but poorly placed. If you have to set different alarms every day, the next one is a big deal. There's another button on the back that you need to hold down while pressing H and M at the top to change the alarm time. If you're used to a watch that can be set without lifting, this will frustrate you - you NEED to lift the watch to coordinate pressing. When you have cables and you are charging, things can get messy as you can accidentally drag your devices while setting or checking the alarm time. My device arrived in a larger box with other items. The outer packaging was undamaged but the box containing this watch was previously flattened. Luckily the watch itself was fine but if it is a gift and the packaging is damaged I would advise you to check if the watch itself is damaged as my watch had very little protection from the box.
