PMD Products indicator light works great. I bought a lantern from Harbor Freight and returned it. The time light of PMD products is better for 2 reasons: 1. The time advance switch on the Harbor Freight model does not have enough friction to hold the setting you have selected. The setting changes by simply moving the light. I had to put a piece of masking tape on the dial to hold the setting in place. The dial on the PMD light has enough friction to hold the settings.2. The PMD Lantern's electrical cords are at least 12 inches longer than the Harbor Freight Lantern, and the extra length is useful. The PMD light arrived a day later than originally estimated because UPS delayed it by a day at a Pennsylvania facility. for inexplicable reasons.
