I was looking for a better vacuum than I had and found this vacuum at a great price. I bought it and boy was it an improvement. Except when I've used it on some of my carpets I've found it gets stuck and stops spinning. I used it last week and it lifted so much it was awesome. And then this weekend I was using it on a carpet for like five minutes where it wouldn't snag and suddenly it stopped, smoke was coming out the sides (at first I thought it was dust) and then flames were coming out of the side walls. my room. I picked this thing up in the air, hoping that it wouldn't set my apartment on fire, and rushed there, turned it off and threw it on the street. I showed my roommate the melted plastic and quickly opened the windows and turned on the fan. Do not buy this vacuum cleaner. He almost burned down my house. I'm not joking. I am now contacting the company.
