Nice idea to have a way of telling size after a needle is removed from its pack. How these needles perform over time remains to be seen. What I can say right now is that the color eye is a gimmick that wears off after ten minutes of needle weaving. And I concur with another reviewer who had difficulty threading. On some of these needles stain/dye used for color filled the eye and had to be picked out with the point of a very fine size 15 needle before I could get thread through it. These would have to be absolutely superior needles for me to order again. Time will tell.
