Review on 🚗 Custom Black LeBra Front End Cover for Select Ford Escape Models - Compatible with 551188-01 by Kipp Amundson

2011 My Escape. This is the second LeBra case I have for him. The previous one was bought when I got the car and lasted until recently. I was expecting the same fit and quality from this new bra as the previous one, but was disappointed. The fit and finish of this new lid leaves a lot to be desired. The hood fits well and is well fastened. The bottom/biggest part doesn't. All attachment points have been measured and are well secured except for the three (3) grommets on top of the center grille which must be attached to the top of the chrome plastic grille. When the rest of the front is attached - to the inside of the wheel arches, the corners where the hood meets the fenders, and the lugs that attach to the lower throttle, the three (3) lugs at the top of the screen nowhere set up where he can be protected. It cannot be stretched to fit anywhere. The tongues were sewn to the screen part in the wrong places. I had something similar on a previous bra but the tabs weren't that out of place so I was able to get it to work. I thought it was just a quality control issue. But apparently not. I'll keep trying to get it working as there isn't a lot of bra choices for this car. However, I am unable to purchase another LeBra product. I will be uploading photos shortly that illustrate these issues. UPDATE - I managed to fix the top 3 clips issue. I bought some small bungee cords with a diameter perfect for the clamps and then I was able to attach the bungee clamps to the attachment points. So now I am satisfied that the cover does not deform and does not fly away at high speed. However, this does not change my original rating for this product. It should not be advertised as suitable for the Escape 2011 if it does not match the Escape 2011!
