Good size, solid and seems durable. My issue is that right out of the box the holder and shovel looked like they had a fight with each other and lost both because they were very scratched and rough looking. When I ordered it the litter box was overdue for cleaning so I had to use it as soon as I received it and plan to keep it but only because I don't feel good about returning a used litter box. When new I'm sure it's a pretty good shovel. * Update I added an extra star to my rating. The company contacted me and offered a refund for my product, no questions asked, no need to change my rating. These are the kind of companies that don't post fake reviews that I'd rather support and be a regular customer. Again, I'm not sure how many products came to me this scratched, but I'm optimistic that this was the exception and not the rule. Otherwise the bucket was in perfect condition.
