The item I received was clearly a generic item and not an OEM item. The color of the wires was different from the ones he replaced. It doesn't seem to fit the port that snugly, but it does the job well. Time will tell if it holds up as well as the previous one. I have no experience with electrical wiring, but this repair was relatively easy. It took me a while to figure out how to pull out the parts on the MC-CG902 so hopefully this will save someone some time. After removing the red cover and looking inside the power head, you must first access the cables by pulling out the white plastic and metal mat height adjustment block. You remove it by inserting a flathead screwdriver into the space between the gray plastic on the center nozzle and the white plastic on the height adjuster. Apply a little leverage and it will pop out, giving you access to the many wires running underneath and the old power cord. Refitting requires bending a replacement cable like the old one and placing it in the grooves (fits very tight). If the carpet adjuster does not lock properly, pull it back out and continue inserting the power cord until it locks into place. This current nozzle cable has only two wires. The one with the black connector goes to the reset switch. The other (copper) end goes into the wire nut with two other silver wires (not copper but steel?). Cut them as close to the old nut as you can, then strip the two silver wires about 1/2 inch. them into the same wire nut as the copper, twist a few times and you're done.
