I love this thread. This is the second time I've ordered it since I shared it with my sister. It is very easy to work with, you will need a large eyed needle for easier threading. However, I had no trouble winding it back onto the spool. I do NOT crochet with this yarn. I use it for embroidery projects. So I can't judge how well the thread is crocheted. Metallic is firmly woven into the thread. There are remnants at the end of the thread from the needle, but they are minimal. I've also found that if I wax the thread before starting a project, it sticks together better.
