Review on Perception Kayak 8080008 Anchor by Shree Carmean

I started kayaking around 2000 (before it became popular) and quickly realized that wind can ruin a potentially good day on the water. I bought an anchor that served me for many years until a friend borrowed it and returned it. I got this as a replacement as I have had a lot of experience with Perception products (and currently own Yak Pescador 12.0) and the anchor is good as expected. At 3 pounds, it is very portable and packs well. The galvanized construction is strong enough to inspire confidence in almost any environment. The anchor also comes in a sturdy carry case and includes 30ft of line and a plastic shackle (nice giveaway but I don't need it). Reasonable price on the water and good quality. Very happy with it.
