Fits a bit, but fits.
The OD of the tapered portion of this piece APPEARS slightly larger than the ID of the tub spouts, which we attempted to lengthen. Not much, but it's just big enough not to fit inside. However, after beveling the edge of this fitting and the inside edge of the pipe to remove burrs on one or both, it fit.
