First off, let me say I'm not a runner. I have this strap to hold my iPhone while working around the house. We live on a large lot with several different buildings, and using my iPhone's strap is the only way to make sure I have it with me at all times. By carrying my phone on my belt, I can do housework, garden, wash the car, etc. without worrying about where my phone is. Just love it for this purpose. I also use it on my daily 4 mile walk to hold my phone and mailbox key. If I want to take more things with me, I wear a fanny pack over my Get Waisted. It's very convenient and my phone is safe and easily accessible. If you always lose your phone or miss calls because you left your phone in another room, I highly recommend it! Good product.
