I bought a 32 inch sill for my garage front door to my house. The wood on the underside of the original sill was just rotting away and it was the only 32" sill I could find. After removing the old one, installation took less than 5 minutes. It fitted the doorway so snugly that I didn't have to use screws to attach it, which would have been a problem since the entrance was concrete. I understand why some reviewers have commented on the difficulty in attaching the vinyl element. I had no problems as I was able to easily slide the vinyl from end to end before installing the unit because I didn't use screws. Installing the vinyl insert AFTER installation would be difficult. Also, I didn't have to bevel the bottom of the door as instructed in the instructions. In general, the project turned out to be easier than I expected.
