Speeds will of course vary but I have to say I was very disappointed with the range which this device doesn't seem to have. When connecting via a USB 3 port and updating all the firmware, I was only able to get about 200x200 on my gigabit connection. I was within range of my router and it may be more than capable of 400 x 400 considering most of my phones have that around the house. I think the most frustrating thing is that he kept losing signal. Remember that it was in the router's direct path and nothing was blocking it.
