I bought this to replace my Shark steam mop which had lasted about 8 years. I considered a different Shark or Bissell but was concerned about the negative reviews of each breaking after a short period of use. So I found this mop and was amazed by the great reviews. First the pros: The mop is lightweight, which is nice when you have a lot of floors to mop. I love how easy it is to attach the cleaning head to the mop, while my Shark Mop has always been a challenge. It was easy to assemble and only took a few seconds to start producing vapor. Overall the cleaning went well, my floors look good with no streaks, especially on wooden floors. Now for the cons: The cable is too short! I had to constantly unplug my mop and plug it into a new outlet to reach all of my floors. It hurt a little. What I also don't like is that the mop head doesn't pivot, making it difficult to access the toilet and other hard-to-reach places. The mop only comes with a cleaning pad and the instructions state that you need to replace this pad about every 2 months. My old Shark Mop came with a bunch of cleaning pads and attachments and the pads themselves seemed more durable than these. So be sure to order 2 more pads right away. Overall I gave this mop four stars mainly because of the price and the fact that my floors look clean and nice which is ultimately the most important thing.
