Review on πŸš— Al's Liner Ceramic Insulation HNR - 1 Gallon - Heat and Noise Reducer for Cars, Trucks, and Audio Noise Control by Vincent Poolaw

Maybe the "N " adapter is definitely NOT the "H " adapter

Al was a pleasure working with, customer service was quick to respond to all my email questions , and I really like Al's liners that I put in the bottom of my Jeep Wrangler (TJ). In addition to Al's liner, I used this Al's HNR as directed, I actually applied it slightly thicker than the recommended "31 mils" to the hottest spots in my Jeep pan, front floor pans and transmission tunnel. I measured my jeep's floor temperature before and after, the ambient temperature and the jeep's surface temperature were about the same before I let the jeep idle for about 30 minutes, and then checked the temperature before and after applying Al. Liners HNR & Al. The maximum temperature is 136.5Β°F before coating, 133Β°F after coating, and the Harbor Freight thermometer I measured has an error of +/- 2%, so I'm actually reading less than 1% lower temperatures than could see before coating. Basically there is no temperature difference. Definitely not enough for the effort. I can't tell if this affects the noise as I covered it with Al's liner and I'm sure it's Al's liner and not XHP if there is a significant reduction in noise. The Jeep has a fabric top with oversized tires, so even with Al's liner it's not exactly quiet on the road. If I had to do it all over again I would just do Al's liner and drop HNR altogether.
