Knowing that the sea breeze makes throwing a traditional Frisbee very difficult, we bought one for our seaside vacation. It slices through the air with little or no influence from the wind. My young children could throw it accurately from a decent distance and enjoyed playing with the ball. It has unparalleled strength and doesn't seem like I could break it even if I wanted to. Conclusion: Much better than the Frisbee. Continuous. It's easier to throw farther and more accurately. Not affected by wind. Note that the dense plastic/rubber construction will cause the ring to sink if dropped into deep ocean waters for example. Luckily we were able to pick it up when my 7 year old threw it 50 feet into the sea.
