The video from the camera seems good, which is the main purpose of the camera. The ability to set camera hours is great. The battery life is excellent. I can set the camera up and leave knowing I'm not shooting 12 hours in the dark and without having to change batteries every 4 hours like I do with my GoPro. However, there are a few minor annoying things about the camera that I don't like. First is focus. I shoot indoors and manually focusing the camera is a real pain. It requires a screwdriver and even with the "Focus" setting turned up, it's very difficult to know if you've got the scene in focus. I would definitely pay more for an autofocus camera. Second, it's a protective plastic sleeve that comes with the camera. The tripod mount is on the door, not the main body. So if you want to take out the camera from the case without removing it from the tripod or clamp, you need to rotate the main body, and the tripod mount is on the main body. where you could just open the door. I haven't had any issues so far, but the latches on the plastic case feel a bit flimsy. These are plastic fasteners with a wire clip holding the case together. I'm concerned that repeatedly opening and closing the case may break one of the plastic latches, but we'll see. The clip that comes with the camera is fine. I like the fact that you can use it as a small tripod, but the push-pull mounts I use on my other cameras are more versatile in terms of mounting on non-standard surfaces and at non-standard angles.
